TOKIO HOTEL “It will be a spectacular show”

The German band will be performing for the first time in South America, arriving in Chile on the 28th of November with their Humanoid City Live Tour 2010. And on the eve of their long-awaited visit, the band talked about their show and about the lives as Tokio Hotel.

The day for their first visit to South America gets closer every day. The band will have 5 shows on this side of the world: Tuesday November 23rd in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Thursday November 25th in Lima, Peru. Sunday November 28th in Santiago, Chile. Tuesday November 30th in Monterrey, Mexico; and Thursday December 2nd in Mexico City, Mexico.
Bill Kaulitz, Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing and Gustav Schafer will present their show in our country, specifically, at 9PM in Movistar Arena Santiago, where they will come with their Humanoid City Live Tour 2010, tour where they have introduced their third studio album, “Humanoid,” and which has also taken them almost all over Europe.
The success they have found on this part of the planet has motivated them to visit with this show where they have set up a true futuristic city. In fact, they have travelled across Europe, with a team of 50 people and 11 trucks that transports and installs a gigantic stage, that also includes pyrotechnics, special effects, a visual show full of avant-garde and high-tech elements; . . . and an amazing design. All this, so the boys of Tokio Hotel can shine even more in front of their fans.
However, because of the distance between the countries the band will be visiting, they won’t be able to bring the same stage and infrastructure that comes with the show. But the band has assured that the rest will be exactly the same (the outfits, lightning, pyro and special effects).
This is how the band prepares to visit South America, and if time allows it, they hope to see more of every city where they will land directly from Los Angeles, USA, city where they have lived for a couple of weeks already with the purpose of focusing on new material.

Tokio Hotel spoke with our magazine, and talked about their life beyond the lights and the stage.

Fans in South America are anxious because of your visit. What have you been doing lately?

BILL: We have been spending time in the studio, rehearsing to get everything ready. We are actually working to deliver the best in our shows. We don’t want to just give them a good show, we want to give our everything and surprise them.
TOM: Often people ask us why we take so long to prepare our shows, and of course, this is a compliment; but it really does take a long time and energy to prepare a good show.
BILL: There’s a lot of movement on stage and, above all, the show will be spectacular, so we’re hoping to satisfy our fans.

You have lived through a lot as a band, do you still get nervous when you go on stage?
BILL: Yes, we get nervous because of many things, like for example on this tour, we don’t know what’s going to happen and if they still like our music. You can compare it to how you feel when you go back to school after summer vacations.

Do you feel that you have become a better band in the last few years?

GUSTAV: Absolutely, we feel that we all play better, because we play many live shows and also our tours have helped us a lot. Definitely, we have learned a lot from the shows.
GEORG: And even though we never took much music lessons, you can see for yourselves, I mean, listening to our first and our last album, which one sounds better.
BILL: And well, we have many critics . . . they say we can’t speak English or that our English level is too low . . . and we don’t really care. I mean, we are not only musicians and composers; we are four normal boys who love making music. This is what we have come to over the years with a bit of music lessons . . . and on our own.

Do you feel that this is YOUR year?

GUSTAV: Yes, it’s ours.
TOM: And we are giving our best to finish it successfully.
BILL: It’s not a matter of going up or down in popularity, because we expect to continue with Tokio Hotel for a long time, but this is an important year. We see it as a live year, to finish it we are going to South America. . . And we are hoping that this is an unforgettable experience.

Have you also become great friends?

BILL: No, we have always been great friends.
TOM: You have to be good friends when you’re in a band; we spend so much time together so it couldn’t be any other way. We are friends since the beginning as a school band, that means, from the start to the great concerts that we have done, and we have always been together.

You have also played in the United States. How do you feel about succeeding there as well?

BILL: That tour was very good, but travelling around Europe makes us feel at home. Don’t misinterpret me, we are happy when we get on a plane to travel someplace else, but when we arrive home is a very good sensation as well.

And when are you planning on taking a vacation?

BILL: We will finally be able to do it for Christmas, after spending those days with our families.

Boxes

I'm by your side. If you want, it's me you'll see.

I'll catch you if you fall.

Whisper me all your secrets.

The lights will not guide you through, they're deceiving you. . . Don't jump!

I'm stuck!

Family time.

You can do it, little car! Go on!

Oh hi, little fishy!

Why is it dead?

Oh look! Crayons!

Sometimes you won't have any friends to play with, but you must keep playing.

My arms are not long enough to hug everyone I love.

All is lost.

You're my friend and I love you, but these are MY toys!

Come one! Get up!

I'll play a lullaby for you.

Looking for something lost.

Cotton Candy Skies.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how fast or far you go, as long as you go with a friend.

I'm bigger than you.

Don't be sad, mommy will be home soon.

Bubble tea time!

Life is red.

Love.

Fallen part 30850459043285340.

If you've been following my blog for a while, you know what this is.

So, today I went Father's Day shopping (didn't find anything worth giving to any of my fathers) and ran into this at Parque Arauco's Libreria Antartica.

YES!
It's the worst-book-ever-written's cover. FALLEN.
And in Chile, its name is OSCUROS.

My question is: Will I like it if I read it in Spanish.
Does this book deserve a second chance, but in Spanish.... entonces una segunda oportunidad?

I'm sure you'll find me posting about this book again.
Poor book, but I needed a victim!!

Hello Mother, Hello Father!

I don't care if you think I'm cute or whatever; but THIS is my favorite commercial of all time.

I want to dedicate this post to one of my best friends, Maja.
We used to sing this song while we walked around BYU campus and threw imaginary snowballs at people.

20 Endings I DON'T want to see on Lost

I blame LOST for most of my headaches. But the mystery is over tonight.

So, this is a list of 20 endings I definitely don't wanna see on the show.

1. Just as Jack and the Losties confront the evil Man in Black for the last time, the camera zooms out from the island to reveal it is actually a structure inside a snow globe belonging to an autistic child who has imagined this entire saga.

2. Sawyer, Jack, Kate and Hurley wake up on a space shuttle to Mars that is controlled by someone named Major Tom. We find out that the adventures on the island was a VR program meant to entertain them during their long voyage and a glitch in the program caused events to happen out of order and, in some cases, created a contradictory "sideways reality" program. "J.A.C.O.B." ("Just A Computer Obsessed with Backgammon") is revealed to be the ship's A.I. computer, guiding them to their new life on Mars.

3. The Man in Black is defeated and Jack remains on the island while everyone else goes home. But the very next morning, Desmond arrives in a time traveling Dharma bus and tells Sawyer and Kate that if they don't come with him into the future, their kids are all gonna wind up in prison. This trip into the future leads to the creation of yet ANOTHER sideways reality, except in this one all the Lost characters are in a sitcom version of their lives where people call Sawyer "Skipper", Bernard is able to make radio sets out of coconuts, and Charlie seems to wear the same red shirt and hat every day. Meanwhile, Ben gets the crap kicked out of him.

4. Jack saves the day and goes to sleep in Jacob's cabin. He wakes up to find himself once again as "Charlie" on the set of "Party of Five." Lacey Chabert walks in and asks Charlie if he's okay and Charlie explains he just had the WEIRDEST dream.

5. The big light at the Heart of the Island is some weird time distortion called the Nexus. Jack falls in and is lost for a while, only to return from seeming death years later just in time to die unheroically when the bridge he's standing on collapses. Fortunately, before dying, Jack kicks the crap out of Ben. Again.

6. Steve Rogers and Nick Fury return and team-up to kick the Man in Black's ass.

7. Sawyer finds out the Man in Black's real name is "Rosebud", thus explaining why he was so angry as a child and never liked to be called by his name. Interestingly, he never learned how to sled. After learning this, Sawyer comes up with various embarrassing nicknames for the Man in Black, shaming him into submission. In order to regain some sense of self-wroth, the Man in Black kicks the crap out of Ben.

8. The island is really a somewhat damaged TARDIS belonging to Desmond, who is a lost Time Lord. Desmond amazes us with incredible feats of heroism before deciding he will explore the multiverse with his family, Hurley, Jack, Claire, Sawyer and a parallel universe version of Juliet. Ben grows an intimidating beard and goes off in his own TARDIS, determined to become Master of all he surveys. Hilarity and awesomeness ensue.

9. Kate has a vision of Charlie playing the piano and then realizes that the notes of "You All, Everybody" are the coordinates that will lead them back home. Also, there's something about an opera house.

10. The great light at the Heart of the Island is actually a big reality crystal that Superboy-Prime keeps punching, thus causing contradicting plot points and creating flashbacks and sideways realities that don't actually pay off. Jack stops Superboy-Prime and punches the reality crystal himself, causing the entire series to reboot back to the pilot episode, with Jack only vaguely aware that he's lived through these events already as he wakes up on the island.

11. Richard Alpert, Jack and Ben of Earth-1 save the world but must now exile themselves and the island to a "paradise dimension" as the sideways reality becomes the new, true world.

12. The Man in Black turns into smoke and then attacks the camera, leading to ten seconds of black while Charlie's ghost sings "Don't Stop Believing."

13. Jack is able to defeat the Man in Black in a very anti-climatic, two second battle thanks to faulty magic wands and an overly-complicated plan by Dumbledore that relied on repeatedly saying that love is the strongest force of all.

14. The Man in Black is defeated but then Number 6 appears and steals the plane. He takes off, hoping to leave the island, but is defeated by a strangely intimidating weather balloon that seems to be alive. Out of frustration, Sawyer beats the crap out of Ben.

15. At the last moment, Kate turns to the camera and says "Computer, shut down program" and the holodeck is revealed to us.

16. The Man in Black is actually a vampire who took the whole turning into mist deal to a new level. He escapes the island but is then depressed to learn that vampires are no longer considered frightening due to the success of "Twilight." To help deal with this, he blows up Forks, Washington and then beats the crap out of Ben.

17. The light at the heart of the island is really the hammer of Thor. And Hurley is able to lift it. Aw, yeah!

18. After Jack defeats the Man in Black, Sawyer journeys to a "forbidden" part of the island and finds the head and raised hand of the Statue of Liberty lying on a beach. He screams for a few minutes before realizing this is just some replica the Dharma people built to freak people out. Those crazy Dharma people.

19. It's the Matrix. Duh.

20. The day is saved. Sacrifices are made. Ben is beaten up. Sawyer, Hurley, Claire, Miles and Kate all get onto the plane with Lapidus (who turns out to be alive) and he flies them off the island. As they look down, Jack has arranged stones on the island to read "Good Bye."

Lost Finale

Lost ends today.
All of our questions will be answered. . . FINALLY!!

So, Locke wasn't the devil.
I still can't understand why Jack would give up a successful career as a spinal surgeon and his son to protect a light.
Sayid is dead. Bombman!!
Awww Sun and Jin are also dead. But at least they died together.
Now, I really think that Sawyer and Kate will end up together. . . now that Jack is immortal and the guardian of a light no one can find.

We are yet to see what makes Desmond so crucial to the story. I think he means more than we think he does. Radioactive Desmond. . . why are you so special?

Hugo? yeah, he's still fat. After 6 seasons, he's even fatter. (found the ranch and the peanut butter, remember?)

Where's Kenny Rogers?

Anyway, can't wait to watch the finale.
Now, this video. Love it!!

My Old Phone

These phones didn't have ringtones.
These phones didn't have phonebook.
These phones didn't have internet connection.
These phones didn't have games.
But these phones made me laugh.

Lightning 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 THUNDER!!

Exquisite rain.
I feel alive.

Not so stoked about thunders though. . .

Park

I walk across this park every single day.
I see these trees and these benches. . . every day.

But the day I took this picture.
I sat on one of the benches and stayed there for an hour.
I read a book.
I listened to music.
I took pictures of the park from where I sat.

It was a different day.
Not like everyday.

Walking

It's incredible what we can find while we walk.
A couple of weeks ago, I found this moment.

Now, I share it with you.

You know what they say about girls. . . ?

Well, I'm all those things.

Plus a million others.

Yes, you are my enemy. . .

But don't be sad, because you are and you've been the best enemy I've ever had.

Ruined Art

Today, I ruined a painting.

. . . it's ruined, because I didn't paint it.

Don't Try to Fix Me. . . I'm not Broken.

Collateral Murder

WikiLeaks wants to ensure that all the leaked information it receives gets the attention it deserves. In this particular case, some of the people killed were journalists that were simply doing their jobs: putting their lives at risk in order to report on war. Iraq is a very dangerous place for journalists: from 2003- 2009, 139 journalists were killed while doing their work.

For more info, go to

The Labels We Give Ourselves and Others. . .

Yesterday, I found a treasure.

I was going through some old boxes at my parents' home and found some things I wrote when I was probably 12 or 13.
I read them all and then I said to myself laughing:
I was so EMO!!!!

Then I wanted to slap myself because, right there, I gave 13-year old me a horrible label. Labels are all horrible. Labels are good for prescriptions, good for food, good for clothes; but not for people. People are just people.

And yes, I was a young teenager who dressed in black most days, I was super sensitive and emotional, I wrote, I drew, I painted, I didn't play the way kids play at that age; I was quiet. But no. I wasn't emo. I was just a young girl who saw the world the way she chose to see it.

*removes all labels*

I think we should all smile just thinking that we are all free to be ourselves, and that our life experiences make us who we are. Who we become has nothing to do with labels. It has to do with the contents of our hearts.

Lost: I Think I Was Right!

This is Smokey!!!!!

Anyway, I didn't update on Lost last week because I watched the last two eppys together.

So, I'll briefly comment of both. Briefly, because I'm really tired, not because I have nothing to say.

EPPY 8

Remember how I've been complaining of Sawyer starvation and how I was about to die? Well, episode 8 saved me. YAY!!!
We got to see LOTS of Sawyer. Happy Sawyer, romantic Sawyer, serious Sawyer, shirtless Sawyer, sad Sawyer, shirtless Sawyer, funny Sawyer and shirtless Sawyer.
It was a great episode where Sawyer was a cop in this parallel life!! Yes, a cop. Who would believe it? His partner is Miles.

Not-Locke (a.k.a Smokey) sends Sawyer on a mission, and Sawyer "runs" into Whitmore. Then, we realize that Sawyer trusts Smokey more than Whitmore!! I don't know, but if I could talk to him, I'd say something. I just don't want him to die. But part of me wants him to be on Smokey's side, because that way nothing will happen to him.
Anyway, so Sawyer and Kate reunite again, and I think I can still hope for those two to get together. It was so easy to read their silly faces. . .

Last comment about the eppy is. . . HOW WEIRD IS THAT ANIMAL HEAD INSIDE THE CRIB?
SOOOOOO weird. Beyond weird.
Poor Claire, she belongs in the funny farm now. First, she tries to kill Kate, then she hugs her.... Who gets that girl? I don't.

Let's move on to Episode 9 (I'm terrible at this!!)

EPPY 9

I'd call this episode, "Truths Revealed"
It was so eye-opening.
Many of the questions we had were answered here, but only partially.
We think we know, but we really don't.
The one thing I'm sure of is that Smokey is the devil. Just as I predicted a couple of blog posts ago.

Oh and the girl with the big lips? We don't have to call her names anymore! because we learned that her name is Alana.

Or Balana

Something Anna-ish.

*yawns and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*

Earth Hour: What to do?

Date: 27.03.2010
Time: 8:30 - 9:30PM (your time zone)
Where: Planet Earth

In 2007, Australians turned their lights off and started what we call "Earth Hour."
After three years, the entire world has followed (with some sad exceptions) this commendable tradition.
Now, why do we do it? Because our planet needs a break.

And it's only an hour on a Saturday night. There are a million things that you could do to entertain yourself.
Plus, candlelight makes everything more fun. Right? (it also makes it less scary, because the dark is soooo scary)
You just need to get creative, so let me help you with this little list I wrote especially for you. Yes YOU!

LIST

Start by lighting some candles. Then. . .

1. Turn lights off.
2. Unplug all your appliances, chargers, computers, everything!
3. Play an instrument or try to learn how to play one.
4. Play board games or cards with your loved ones.
5. Take a nap.
6. Prepare some yummy earth-friendly snacks. You can find many great recipes online.
7. Invite friends over. Get them out of their house (by doing this, you'll also make sure they observe Earth Hour--it can be your secret agenda, but it will be super fun for all of you!).
8. Gaze at the stars. Go on your rooftop with a blanket or somewhere you can see the stars.
9. Host a yoga session for family and friends
10. Have a family candlelit picnic
11. Read a book
12. Tell scary stories
13. Have a sing-a-long
14. Have a Scavenger Hunt with flashlights look for eco-themed items.
15. Go for a walk, and spy on your neighbors to see if they're also observing Earth Hour.

So there is no need to be bored or sad or scared.
Make the most out of this night, and maybe you will like it so much that you will want to turn everything off more often and enjoy these free activities.

These Two are Creepy to Me

Some movies are meant for adults, some are meant for children.
These two movies claim to be children's films, but they are not.
If I were a child, I'd have nightmares for days. . . Wait, I'm not a child anymore, but I HAD THE NIGHTMARES!!! (you must also know that I was recently sick with Bordetella Pertussis, a bacteria that only attacks children's lungs. Well, the bacteria found ME! O_O LOL)

Number One:

Charlie and The Chocolate Factory: Such a dreamy name.
Charlie sounds like the name of your nicest neighbor.
Chocolate Factory is literally HEAVEN!

But no, this movie is creepy and I regret watching it.
The Oompa Loompas were cool, though.

Number Two:

Coraline:
I first heard the OST. Loved it, very French. Brilliant!
I mean, the film is excellent, just like Charlie and The Chocolate Factory; but it's creepy.
The other mother looked like Victoria Beckham,
and the friend looked like one of the Jonas Brothers (I can't identify them).
The button eyes, the robot/spider hand=Creepy

The author of this book is Neil Gaiman. He also wrote Stardust.
The creator of the movie is the same as A Nightmare Before Christmas, but that one didn't scare me at all, and I was a lot younger when I saw it. Weird.

Now, this picture is really cool.
I wish I had one of these that connects my life with a perfect world.
Srsly, I think this movie does have a message.
The girl was unhappy with her life, and then she was able to find a world where everything is perfect. But guess what, the world was neither perfect nor real.

Be careful with what you wish for!!

Pajamas: When Life Was Good

I really, really, really miss those days when I used to wear pajamas to bed.

Since the earthquake (in the middle of the night), I tend to connect bedtime with rattling windows, shaky bed, and decorations' massive destruction; so I sleep in sweats. Always ready.

Am I talking about the earthquake AGAIN???
OMG, I'm so monothematic, I should be banned from blogging.

Okay, I'll stop now.

(Sudden change of subject)
It would be nice if someone left a comment every once in a while, but you need to have a google account I guess. I never comment on anyone's blog, so I don't know.

Question: Do you like my blog? (Blink once for YES. Blink twice for NO)

Anyway, I was going to talk about when life was good OR the GOOD OL' DAYS!!

In the good old days:
I wore pajamas to bed.
Candy and Terry were together in London
I had Kit Kats hidden in a secret drawer
My dog liked to take naps with me
Chile was never in the news
I was fed by my mom and she made airplane sounds
Not wearing night cream was an option
Bill Kaulitz had a lion mane
It was okay to do cartwheels from my school to my house (it was a 2-minute walk)
I took half-hour showers because I didn't have a conscience
I could quote Becquer and Keats and no one called me "EMO"
I would make necklaces with watermelon seeds
Vampires didn't sparkle
Pluto was a planet. . .

(oh geez, the list is way long, the good old days were way too good)

So that's why every now and then, I wish it was then instead of now.

Do you want to hear something interesting/funny?
We just had a national blackout. YES!!

I was watching an Audrey Hepburn movie when suddenly everything went dark. It was obvious that a mega e********* would follow, but it didn't *relieved sigh*.
The blackout was in 90% of Chile. O_O
I think it was a power station damaged by the E********* in the city of Los Angeles (LA Chile, not LA USA).
We had candles for over an hour and then LIGHT!!! right when I was singing "The sun has frozen, the world has lost its light. . ."

During hard times, singing is good: Miracles happen. Power comes back.

Are We Justifiably Paranoid?

I think so!!

The curious nerd in me gathered this information for you to take a look at the ground where we, Chileans, currently stand. You'll see that we are paranoid with a VERY GOOD reason.
I really admire those who have been calmed through all this. I envy them!! :-) I look calm, but deep within I'm so neurotic. . .

Anything below 5.0 is not on this list. We probably get 5 of those daily.
Anything between 5.0 and 6.0 already gives me a little heart attack.
Anything above 6.0 is in bold letters, because it can cause major destruction, death and all the sad things we Chileans know so well.

This is a report of the seesmic activity in Chile from the day of the mega earthquake on 27.02.2010.
I warn you, this list is ridiculously long.

3 Earthquakes, 9 Temblors, 15 hours

Chile doesn't stop dancing, and I refuse to die in a natural disaster!!!

I really don't have anything dramatic to write about (like "Earthquake 8.8 *whispers* I was in shock and in a very chatty mood), so the title says it all, and you can get to your own conclusions as to how I must have felt, and how I must feel now; and how I feel that I appreciate life a lot more; and how I know what really matters to me, etc.

Voila!

Wow, I should write more post like this one. Make you do all the work.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Upsate: 22 movements now as of 3:58am 12. March. 2010

It's almost 4am. I think I'm scared. I'm afraid to sleep. We've had too many earthquakes today, and tremors haven't been pleasant either.
I feel dizzy!!

Less Lost, but still Lost.

I think that if you're going to read my blog, you'll have to start watching Lost. Well, not only watch it; but you have watch it on the day it airs, because I write spoilers.

Tuesday's eppy was about Benjamin Linus. It was a great story. Very touching.
But I'm still confused about the parallel lives.

Here, he was a history teacher and worked at the same school with John Locke, who is still alive and he's good, not like the evil creature he has become.
On the island, the smoke monster, John Locke-lookalike, is not only super evil, a monster, immortal; but he's also a magician that can set you free when curly-haired, big-lipped ladies trap you.

It's really a shame that I don't know her name and I have to call her names like a mean 6-year old.

Anyway, but I find this big lip lady not as tough as Ana Lucia (who we all like to call Ana Lulu) because she cried (pfffft!!) with a story Linus told her (Linus who killed her father figure, Jacob). Yes, that, but she also needs some tattoos, and maybe an eyebrow or tongue piercing. She also needs to have Kate's arms.

Miles and Hurley (Hugo) talk to dead people.
Miles can talk to graves and ashes, while Hugo sees the deceased. Now, that takes real talent. I think a power like that could help solving so many crimes.
You could ask the dead "How did you die? who killed you?" and so the world would be a much happier place, like the place in Pushing Daisies!!! (Ohhh I miss that show!) where they solved crimes by asking these questions while they ate always delicious-looking pie.
Now, that defines happiness to me.

Hugo sees dead people, but he's not losing weight. I've totally lost hope, after 6 seasons you would think island life would have slimmed him down a bit; BUT NOOOOOOO, he goes on his silly little adventures and finds cars (so he stops walking around), golf courses (lazy sport, requires the use of 3 muscles at the most), and then he manages to find buckets of Ranch dressing and Peanut butter!!! OH PLEEEEASE!!

Now,

On my blog I've never mentioned Richard.
I really like it that he wears eyeliner (Egyptian theme again, See???), so now he finally told us that he's neither vampire nor cyborg. So why is he immortal?

I've also forgotten to talk about Kenny Rodgers. He's so cool. I love that guy! He doesn't harm anyone, helps the good guys, seems to always be in a good mood, wears pilot clothes, and now he shaved his face which makes him look younger, cleaner, and less Kenny Rodger-y.

So, there are 6 "candidates" left:

Kwon (Jin or Jeun)
Sayid
Hugo
Kate
Jack

and

SAWYER!!! (OMG another eppy without Sawyer!! ABC what are you doing to us? My eyes are Sawyer-starved)

Finally, Widmore.
Widmore is there, inside a submarine.
For a second I thought that he could have been the smoke monster; but it's got to be Jack's dad. At this point, do you get the feeling that I might be right?
I hope I'm right.
If I'm right, I'll make cupcakes for all of you.

See ya next week!! (To talk about Lost, of course. Because I'm sure I'll blog before that. You know how much I like to talk, write, whatever)

Lost: I'm soooo Lost

Life goes on. Or "must" go on.
I'm forcing myself to have happy thoughts while the earth rattles under me. (Hahah! I get the feeling that you know where I'm writing from. If not, let me help you: It starts with "CHI" and ends with "LE". . . Good luck guessing!)

Anyway, I watched Lost, Episode 6, the other night. And I'm so Lost!

So, John Locke is definitely dead.
No signs of Sawyer (2 episodes now without him!)

....

Okay, so our Lost friends are all separated right now.

Sawyer is somewhere inside a cave.
John Locke is dead.
Kate is intrigued following the smoke monster/john locke lookalike/all around evil dude
and so is Claire (but Claire is crazy now! and she... aged a million years).
Jack is by the lighthouse with
Hugo!
Sayid is on a killing spree and looks possessed
Charlie, still dead

You know who I also miss? Desmond. Isn't he cool? He's so cool and he has that extremely sexy Scottish accent. Maybe Gerard Butler should take speaking lessons from him. (Oh and I also like his hair and his decisions )

Who else?

Oh, Miles! Miles is with Jeun (who, by the way, has grrrreat skin) and they are with the curly hair lady with big lips.

Jin is in the jungle...

WHAT A MESS!
Aren't you guys feeling sorta misplaced? Because I am big time. I need them together and I need answers to my questions, and I need to know if the smoke monster is really Satan. I think he is. I think I got goosebumps when he told Sayid that he could have anything he wanted on this earth. That sounded SO MUCH like something Satan would say to a lost creature or a LOST creature.

Now, I won't comment on the double lives our friends are living. That's just... LOCO! It's more than Lost, it's LOSTER or something. (They should come up with a word that means to be more than Lost)

But it's my favorite show. My frustrations have nothing to do with the quality of the show. It's all me.

AAAAAALLLLLL ME.

Earthquake 8.8

Santiago, Chile. Saturday 27.02.2010 3:34am

It was a cold night, exceptionally cold for a Summer night. I was uneasy. I was awake and cold. My nephew (7) and niece (4) were over for the weekend.
I got up and put on warmer clothes, and only a couple a minutes later I heard a sound that came from somewhere deep and far. It got louder and louder, then the windows started rattling, and a deafening sound of drums pierced my ears, the earth started shaking. I thought for a second that it was just a temblor, like the ones we get every once in a while.
The noise grew louder snd the earth started jumping. At that moment, I knew it wasn't just a temblor.
I grabbed my niece and ran with her in my arms towards the living room. On my way there, I opened my mom's door, she was already up holding my nephew. I took my little dog with my free arm and ran to the open area of the house.
The walls were swaying, things were falling from the shelves, the chairs were jumping and moving out of place. The power went out and I saw flashing lights from everywhere. Everything looked red, I still don't know why.

It was two minutes that felt like forever.

I was screaming, gasping. I was scared, not only for my life, but for my niece and nephew who were away from their parents and under my responsibility.
I thought the roof was going to fall on us, the walls.
I screamed "Heavenly Father, please make it stop!!"
At this point, I was almost crying.

Then, it got milder and milder until it stopped.

I collapsed on a chair, still holding my niece tightly.
I was breathing again, but my legs were moving on their own. Shaking.

My nephew suddenly said to my mom "Why did you wake me up?"

My niece said "My leg hurts," I probably hurt her while trying to get out of my room.

I was relieved to know that they hadn't grasped what had just happened to us. I quickly opened the door and I saw my neighbors out with flashlights, asking everyone how they were doing.
Yes, I opened the door after the earth stopped shaking because we were locked in and couldn't find the way to open the door. I was happy when the door opened without having to force it open.

After that, it was a neverending night of darkness, fear and aftershocks. The strongest one came around 7:30am with a magnitude of almost 6 (technically, that is not an aftershock, but an earthquake in itself)

During the night, I was informing my mom of everything that I heard on my Ipod radio. Finally the telephone lines were working close to the morning and we were able to talk to my father who was at the beach (yes, and under threat of receiving a Tsunami), and my brother and sister-in-law who were freaking out. We called a couple of aunts, and everyone was alive.

February 27th was the longest day of my life.
It's only been two days since the earthquake, but I still hear the noise in my ears and I still relive the moment of fear and desolation I felt while everything moved around me.

I'm just thankful that everyone I know is alive and healthy. I still need to hear from some family members in the catastrophe area and some friends in Concepcion. I pray that they are alive, and that we know soon that they are okay.

We haven't had aftershocks today!! The strongest one after the earthquake was yesterday, magnitude 6.6 (yes, another earthquake)

This will be over soon. I know.

Fallen (part II)

You make me not want to read.
I blame you (whoever you are) for this lack of interest I have to keep reading "Fallen." As soon as I told you about it, I stopped reading!
The lack of interest is so overwhelming that I had to make it public. . .

Do you want me to pick up a different book or something?

Shame on you. I bet you hear voices inside your head and they sound like angry Italians.

No. I don't hear the voices, and if I did I wouldn't tell you because you'd be too jealous of the things they've been saying to me lately!!

Today I almost fell!! I was wearing monster high heels and I was worried about my walk (please read "mince") instead of looking at those little traps called cracks on the pavement. So I almost fell, but because I have superhuman reflexes, I didn't. (Yay!)

Must sleep now. I have aunt day tomorrow!!! I <3 my little nephew and niece. They are really little and so cute and uber adorable.

Life's good. Smile lots. Eat your veggies. Drain. Floss. Use sunscreen. Live every second.

Your life's not a TV show.

P.S. I changed my mind. I decided not to blame for not wanting to read Fallen. I think the book just sux. *nods*

Fallen

FALLEN is the title of the book I'm currently reading.
It came to me actually because of this great cover. It appealed to me. It talked to me!!
So I looked it up, blablablabla now I'm reading it.

It's. . . . good. I wouldn't say it's the best book I've ever read, but not the worst. I'll be nice.
I'm on page 70 and I still don't know where it's taking me and to be honest, by page 70 you get tired of reading about the same thing over and over again when you know you have less than 80 pages left.

The author has failed to develop the main character, what's her name even? Oh Luce!! as in Lucinda. Lucinda Price. I just see Lucinda as a less annoying Bella Swan. I hate comparing anything to Twilight *gags*, but it's inevitable.
When I started reading I was captivated --which kept me reading--, but by page 40 something I felt I was reading Stephanie Meyer again. The agonizing love story, the mean boy, the tortured girl, the nice guy who wants the girl.... The writing style is awfully similar at this point. I really enjoyed the descriptions at first, but now I feel they don't add any content or background to the story. Or maybe they do, but I've been skipping those parts at this point.

On the cover you read: "Sexy, fascinating and scary." The only sexy thing I've seen so far is Cam. I picture him like a rockstar. Daniel, supposed to be the Mister Darcy of the story, I can only picture him like that blonde guy from the last Harry Potter movie, I don't know his name, but he has a commercial dancing in his undies. The complete opposite of sexy.
Fascinating? . . . Ehm.... No?
Scary?: Are the shadows supposed to scare me? Because they don't.

I'll write more when I finish it, if I can deal with the blablablabla. Okay?

Stay tuned for the next entry!! <3

Love Sculpture

I have a picture here. In the middle of the V and the E, but I can't find it.
I think this sculpture travels a lot more than I do so if you find it in a city near you, you must take a picture with it.
Mine was taken in 1997 or 98. Can't remember.
I just know that it was back when I thought love was "cute."
Too bad I can't find it. Back then I didn't have a digital camera, so it must be in some box in the US, I guess.
Hi, Love Sculpture!!!

Lost Episode 4 Season 6 *SPOILER*

Okay, so I just watched the eppy. It was great, always is.

But the end was so.... Losty.

The sequence of numbers on the cave walls. 4,8,15.16,23,42 with their names:

4- Locke
8- Hugo
15- Ford
16- Jarrah
23- Shephard
42- Kwon

It's missing Austen. Weird much?

So, I have more questions.
And the bald guy (John Locke's clone) is lying, I know!!!

Lost

You thought I was going to write about how I exactly feel right now? Pffffft! well, you're SOOO wrong. LOL
I'm going to write about one of the greatest shows ever created: LOST.

Don't you feel that after 5 complete seasons you care so much for them? Awwwwww. Well I do too!! And I have questions. Who doesn't!!!??

So, season 6 just started, the last one! and the director promised that all our questions will be answered. Is that even possible? I can't wait to find out.

*SPOILERS*

Episode 4 aired last night. I haven't watched it yet. I'm waiting to watch it while I eat my apple crisp that soon will be in the oven. But, I was so happy to see Claire on episode 3!!! I've been wondering about that girl for ages! She is so sweet and poor Aaron!! I was just worried that the smoke monster had eaten her.

But now that I know more.... I think the smoke monster couldn't have done that, because it happens to be John Locke!!! *gasps* Or a John-Locke lookalike.

Honestly I think this John Locke lookalike is Jack's dad. I have nothing to base this on, but he seems to be the real bad guy here and he sort of disappeared a while ago.
And he's Claire's dad, so again, the smoke monster couldn't have eaten her anyway.

Now, what's with all the Egyptian symbols and statues?

The Tawaret-looking statue (have you noticed that only has four toes?), and then we only see a foot, and then WHAT!! it's underwater???

And the ankh symbol! Yes! The statue is holding it and then it was inside the guitar case that Jacob gave to Hugo. Did you know that the ankh symbol represents eternal life? Yes. I know a lot about Egypt. I'm not Egyptian though.

Is Hugo ever going to lose weight?

Is Driveshaft ever going to win a Grammy? Oh wait, they can't. They sucked and Charlie died. (RIP Charlie)
The one whose death I still mourn is Boone's. Ian Sommerhalder is just... Hmmm. It was GRRRRREAT to see him on episode 1 of this new season though. I thought he was going to bite someone, but then I remembered that I was watching Lost and not the Vampire Diaries. (I love that show too!!! *squeals*)

Finally, I think Kate is in love with Sawyer. She always has. Just like me.

Ahhhhhhh!!!
